*So let go what does not serve your highest good and focus on the things in life that bring you joy, but that also raise your vibration to levels that will see you ascend into the higher realms with the others around you who have made this same choice.
Holding some of you back are habits and tendencies and ways that you have chosen to live your lives, and we say to you has the time not come to release all of these limiting qualities that do not any longer serve you on your journey.
We are not here to tell you how to live your lives. We are here to show you that there is another way and opportunities that present themselves to you. That is why we are here, and we will not overstep our bounds in this way and preach to you that you must follow the path that we have chosen.
We will only lead humbly by example, so as to allow those of you who wish for a new beginning and a new way to be able to find this path if this is what you wish.
All along your journey there have been those who have traveled ahead, and they have many times left clues for you to recognize, to allow you to follow if you wish in their footsteps just as they were able to follow footsteps left on the path before them. No one has pushed us to follow a certain trail.
This is something that each of us has decided for ourselves. We extend the same rights to you, and we say to you that you are entirely free to follow any path that you choose. We only wish to show you a path we have chosen, and this path has brought us to where we are today.
Your journeys have brought you to the point where you are now more clearly interacting and communicating with us of the higher realms, and we say to you this has been made possible through the choices that you have made all along your journey. We have not unduly interfered with your decision-making up till now, and we will not unduly influence your decision-making today or anytime in your future.
We only tell you that the choices you have made have brought you to the doorstep of the home in which we live, and we say to you one more step through this threshold will deliver you into the kingdom we call home.
Many of you at this time are making the choices you feel will direct you to new experiences of a higher nature, and we say to you making these types of choices will never serve you wrong and will guide you along the path that will lead you to the higher experiences that you seek.
If it is higher experience that you seek, we tell you they do exist and they are here on our side waiting for you to make the choices that will allow them to become your reality. They only wait for your arrival. They only wait for you to take the next turn on your path. They will be there waiting for you.
What these experiences will be shall make themselves known to some of you even before they come into view. Not all of these experiences will be a complete surprise, as many of you are beginning to reach an understanding of what awaits you just up ahead.
We at times paint a picture for you to give you some idea of where some of your choices will lead and we do that out of love, for we wish for you to have all the information necessary for you to make your choices that will lead you just where it is you wish to be.
We do not wish for you to journey through uncharted territory without your map and compass. We instead will furnish you with all the navigational tools you will need to make informed choices all along your journey. You may do what you wish with these tools, and we only make them available to you if you wish to use them, to help guide you along your path.
If you travel by star or travel by trail there will be tools available to you to assist you with your navigation. Use these tools freely and use these tools wisely, for they will help guide you along.
Along your route you will meet many others who are navigating their way through the twists and the turns of existence. We say to you do not pass by each other like two ships in the night, but set anchor for a while and share with each other what each of you has learned that has brought you together at this point, and show them the navigational tools that you are using to guide you on your journey before you set sail again.
We see so many of you doing just this today, and it warms our hearts to see so many of you reaching out to each other in this way and sharing the maps that you have drawn through your experience. Remember these maps that others have shown you, for they may assist you in some way in your travels up ahead. There is always something new for you to learn, and you will never reach a point where you have learned all there is to know. There is no final port of destination for us as our journey is one of never ending wonder and experience, and we are free to continue our sail for an eternity.
Many of you today are reaching a new port of destination and will take on a new crew, and together you will embark on a new expedition through this magnificent universe. All along your journey you have from time to time joined a new crew to sail with. These are your friends and your family who have chosen to learn similar lessons and gain similar experiences such as the ones you have chosen.
There comes a point along our journeys where those who have been traveling with you choose different lessons and experiences, and it is at this point where you will choose to board different vessels and chart separate courses. You may meet these souls again up ahead on your journey, but it may be time to say farewell at least for now, as you have reached a point where different experiences are required for your advancement
You will meet new souls to journey with you who have made similar choices of what they wish to experience next, and you may even be reunited with some old friends and family who have missed you dearly.
Let those who now seek experiences that differ from you sail in their own direction, knowing that you can meet them again sometime up ahead, and know that you can always keep your memories of them close to your heart while you set your own course and sail on.
You have many new friends and new adventures waiting for you up ahead, and they only wait for you to weigh anchor and catch a new breeze within your sails.
*Oh, how the beautiful and glorious future that you have been working toward with all of yourselves is blossoming now into an almost compete and full bloom! Such impeding changes that are to spring forth in your reality have been discussed to much detail lately, and as you read and hear of such things on your internet, you are radiating the Creative energies that see such events being discussed able to come to fruition. Do you notice dear souls, how much of the guidance and advice that you are given is in relation to your own Creation powers and how important you are in this entire event?
While the men in the suits have played king and made the decisions on Earth for a very long time whilst this lower vibratory experiment played itself out, with the end of your cycle now approaching at rapid speed the power is to now be placed back in the hands of the people, where it has always belonged in the first place and when this natural order is restored to your world, naturally the Light quotient will increase in purity as you will all find little need for any type of violence in a world where all have everything they need.
The funds truly are there and available, they are simply currently in the hands of those who have toyed around with your futures and tried to create a false end to this already proclaimed ascension of all awakening souls on Gaia’s surface. The mere knowledge and information of ascension has been getting out so very much through your internet and through the always popular word of mouth, and as you are being informed of these matters as well as of matters of the exposure of the Illuminati, again your thoughts about such things attract you toward the energies of Creation that you will be bringing through yourselves by thinking about such things.
When you think of the Illuminati and of their exposure, think and feel nothing but the pure Light and Love that you are and hold within in relation to these souls and their exposure. Feel in yourselves, the amazing and wonderful future that you know is to be brought about, and radiate these energies toward the heads of the Illuminati.
You do not need to know these souls personally to do so. Simply aim your Lighted energies toward the souls whom you can feel have caused the most destruction and chaos on the surface of Earth, as these souls cannot function unless driven by energies of a much lower and dense nature. If you send these souls nothing but Light and Love, such energies will see them unable to continue on in their many dense plots against humanity.
Of course, we have now been granted full authority to see to it that these souls are exposed and that along the way, they will not be able to cause any chaos or destruction during their exposure and ‘takedown’. We communicate with these souls more than many on Earth realize, and we have many angelic, ascended and extraterrestrial souls communicating with various aspects of the souls bringing these changes about.
By this we mean that we have been communicating and negotiating with the heads of the various broken-up sects that were once the Illuminati, and at the same time we are speaking through mediums and advanced technological means to the earth allies that have been so heard about. Many of you have wondered just who these souls are who have been called the earth allies by many ascended sources, and just what their job and mission they are performing on Earth is in relation to the attaining of the freedom of humanity that you deserve to have bestowed upon you.
There is not too much we can disclose about these individuals at this time, but suffice to say these are many powerful groups of wealthy individuals who have ties back to us celestials, Ascended Masters and souls in the various Lighted organizations who are assisting Earth at this time. Some of these souls are direct descendants of many extraterrestrial races in the Galactic Federation, and the majority of the Lighted groups working to bring this change forth have ties to and know the true history of your world and all that has happened on Her surface in relation to the gradual decaying away of your freedoms and planetary and Universal rights.
There are souls who previously lacked the knowledge of this information, who upon joining the liaisons of one of our many Lighted earth ally-organizations for their own special reasons, perhaps by themselves possessing some type of ability that will be useful to our earth allies and to bringing about this ultimate Divine plan; upon joining the ranks of the Light in such direct ways, the souls who may have not previously known a thing about the controlled nature of your history and past, will be informed of such things to a great extent.
The ‘training videos’ so to speak that have been set up in many of the organizations of the earth allies in whichever form or group such allies take, will be and are very similar to the announcements that will be given to humanity upon the arrests of the souls who have been holding your freedoms from you. The videos that we show the many souls who are just joining the ranks of the Light in direct ways, are prototypes of sorts of the announcements that you will be given.
We have been working directly with many of our earth allies in the most influential organizations of such souls, on the announcements of all that has been done to you and your world, and the aspect of the initial announcements that are to begin exposing the truths and suppressions maintained on your world is something that we personally have been working very hard not just with many earth allies on, but with you Agarthan cousins on as well.
The aspect of the Inner Earth and of what happened in the times of Atlantis and Lemuria have been put together in a wonderful presentation that truly leaves no stone unturned, and we happily anticipate that many of you will gain a very familiar remembrance with the many events, both happy and tragic, that took place back in those times.
Again, no stone has been left unturned, and each and every detail of Atlantis and Lemuria as well as the small societies that surrounded such places, will be explained as well as the architecture of the cities of Atlantis and Lemuria, and what you dear souls who inhabited such places did for sustenance and to power the extremely advanced and near-ascended lifestyle that was maintained with ease in such times.
We will also go to great extents explaining the many extraterrestrial civilizations that Lived on your world during the times of Atlantis and Lemuria as well as before and after such times. The fall of Atlantis and the disaster that took place will have to be explained to lay the foundation for further discussion about how the fear caused in [nearly] all of humanity by such an event caused [the success of] much of the fear-based manipulation fed on your world at this current point, and we anticipate as well much fear and sadness rising in much of humanity, especially in many souls in the United States who have purposefully maintained an unawakened state because of the fear garnered in such times over the tragic and disastrous loss of Atlantis and Lemuria alike.
We don’t wish to go into too much detail about such things at this time, as we wish to focus more in this message about the aspects of many shocking revelations that you will be let know.
You are to be informed of your history in such extensive ways that many of you will indeed have trouble at first keeping yourselves ahead of all that will be given to you in relation to the true state of affairs on your world and in your reality, and the longest and most comprehensive reports that have been published on your surface to date [in relation to such things] have only scratched the surface of all that you are to be let know of any of all that you have been kept from knowing purposefully.
It will be understood how carefully-crafted the realties you are finding yourselves in now truly have been, and through your exposure to various documents and meetings that you will see through the Akashic Records, you will realize that nearly every aspect of your modern society that most of you would recognize as familiar today, has been carefully crafted and planned-out by forces who have wanted to maintain the lower vibratory state your world has been in for nearly a millennia, as well as feed the grid of darkness and negativity that such souls feed off of for their sustenance.
The violence and alcohol and drug cultures that you see on your television and in your movies, the continual promotion of sex and lust in much of your modern society as well as the very subtle marketing of such things to teenagers and children has been carefully, carefully planned out and crafted centuries ahead of the times you are now seeing such tings play out, to happen.
You have purposefully been exposed to each and every aspect of the lower dimensions that you are experiencing currently, and the keeping-down of many areas of Gaia’s surface has been for the purposes of promoting many types of lower vibratory cultures and ways of Living and behaving that keep one continually feeding a void in themselves that of course, sends one’s energies right on through to the realms and further voids of fourth density-negative, wherein lies the grid of negativity that the Illuminati heads have again, been getting their sustenance and nourishment as well as their perceived youthfulness from.
The Illuminati heads and those souls who are truly guilty and themselves responsible for the majority of the lower vibrations continually manifested on Earth, have very dense structures of mind when it comes to thinking upon the majority of humanity whom they have purposefully kept poor and targeted numerous times. They think that you are all noting but simple peasants, and that simple peasants do things like drink heavy alcohol and take drugs, as well as fornicate and multiply and eat, which they feel is leeching off of them and taking up their space on this world.
If these souls could have it their way, they would simply keep a small portion of the world to control and dominate, and eventually they would wipe such small populations out as well as they would only wish to Live on this world by themselves, with all of their money and everything in the physical that they feel makes Life complete.
Luckily, they are not able to achieve such means and if it could be fully fathomed at this time just how extensive the help being given form the Light on your world is, you would have absolutely no doubts as to the glorious path your planet is heading in, for we of the Light are many and we are powerful.
We now have the power to bring the real, legal change forth that has been needed and wished for on your world for so very long, and the laws that we are and will be using to enforce the taking of the reigns so to speak, from the heads of the Illuminati back to the hands of the general public of this beautiful world, are laws that are very old yet possess power beyond your current comprehension and perception.
It must be understood, the true purpose of various laws that are enforced very strongly, as the laws that you are forced to follow on your world in the majority of your countries that are enforced through local and national polices and illusory ‘peace keepers’ are phony laws in many cases, that were made out of thin air by elements of the Earth cabal for reasons of suppressing humanity as much as they possibly could.
There are laws beyond the creation and comprehension of even these souls, and the laws that we speak of will be made quite clear to humanity upon the initial arrests of the heads of the cabal, as humanity will quickly demand a reason why so many souls are being taken away out of their homes to prison.
Of course, the majority of humanity have awoken to the truths of what such rich bankers and high-profile elitists have been doing to your world, so we do expect many people breathing a collective and individual sigh of relief when you turn on your television sets and see those bankers who many have been protesting against, finally having happen to them what has been needed to happen.
Of course, we would never promote anyone feeling happy about the arrest of any soul, as the pains and hells that the heads of the Illuminati have experienced and will experience are certainly no cause for celebration, and the things that these souls will have to go through because they have forced others to go through such things, truly do hurt our Creator who feels nothing but complete, unconditional Love for each and every dear soul of our Creator’s spirit structure, that is existing in each and every vibration and dimensional octave of realty established by our Creator in each and every density and form.
Our Creator does not want to see the heads of the Illuminati punished in such ways, but the Illuminati heads have at the same time turned deliberately against our Creator and against Gaia and perpetrated many acts on Gaia’s surface in favor of feeding lower dimensional entities usurping the energies of these individuals again, through the realms and voids of fourth density-negative.
We would recommend dear souls that you feel happy about the aspects of these arrests and exposures that have to do with you on Earth finally attaining your resulting freedoms. Your brains are going to hurt for a while as you begin to soak up all of the revelations that we have for you, but when you see such arrests happening on your TV sets and believe us, this is to happen in a shorter time window than you may think or expect, you can indeed breathe that sigh of relief that you have been wishing to be able to breath, and rest for a couple of days knowing that what is happening is indeed going to be explained, and what results from these happenings will be nothing short of the single biggest events to ever happen to your world and current civilizations.
While many of your cycles have ended in destruction and in a continual feeding of the lower vibrations for generations to come, the cycle you are undergoing and finishing now is to finally end with the decreed, marvelous ascension that you have been working toward throughout hundreds and even thousands of Lives in the lower realms.
The call for more direct action that is being made by more souls on your world than your realize at this point, is seeing the potential for such Creation and manifestation actually occurring, increase exponentially and with the significant physical progress being made by our Earth allies who remain anonymous but who we have been consulting with endlessly, the bringing-about of everything that has been waited for is indeed at your doorstep now.

Angelo was thinking of different timelines of things to materialize in a short period of time, in his view before the end of May 2012. Angelo is having communications with 20 Beings now, one is asking him a lot of questions (Laughter SaLuSa) she’s going to stretch his consciousness (Angelo Laughter) Yes She will. *As the word spreads about the changes, so more of you eagerly await the first acknowledgement through the media. Also as the details of the exploits of our allies and the Galactic Federation become known, so more of you hold a strong belief in the outcome. After all, it has become patently obvious that unless changes take place, Man would sink further into the mire and eventually into oblivion. Those changes are being speeded up by our intervention, and intent to ensure that Divine orders are followed that will result in your release from the dark Ones. It only remains to arrest those who exercise the most power, so that the Illuminati can no longer function as a single unit.
Everything is in place for a whole series of events, so much so that you will be hard pressed to keep up with them. What we want to be able to do is to keep the masses of you well informed, so that there is no misunderstanding as to our intentions. Some people with religious expectations and desires will not accept us, as they will see our coming as different to what they have been told to expect. Indeed, some have been given to understand that we are in league with the Devil. We wish to dispel those feelings and doubts, as we are God loving and serve you in order to bring you out of enslavement.
We make allowances for your different beliefs, but in the end there will only be the two time lines. One will be to Ascension when you shall become more godlike, and the other one a continuation of what you already experience. We shall use every opportunity to make the truth known about your future, and it cannot be changed except that you have a choice. We exert no pressure on any soul, but we will provide proof of our mission and it will be backed up by the Masters both on and off Earth. There is so much that has been given you as the truth, yet much has been deliberately distorted or is an absolute untruth, so the harm done will have to be put right. In the past you have been obedient to your dark masters, without realizing their evil intentions. However, you have now entered a period of upliftment, and with the ever increasing levels of consciousness are more able to be discerning. The truth will carry an energy that will identify it as such, and it will act with your intuition which is your most reliable friend.
Naturally you will also want proof of our statements regarding your past history. That presents no problems to us, as we will show you all relevant proof to the point of showing what is held in the Akashic records. Everything that has ever happened can be brought up again, including for example the Great Flood and similar great historical moments. Noah's Ark is a wonderful story that is surrounded in myth, but we shall put the record right. There are many such examples, and we have already prepared our courses of instruction. So clearly, we are excited at the prospect of being able to communicate with you at such levels.
Until we can openly contact and converse with you, it is best that you carry on as usual and do not be distracted by what you anticipate from us. Allow it to occur naturally and in its own good time, knowing that your future is now assured. Of course you want to set your sights on Ascension, and in the time that is left you will be well informed as to what you need to do. Basically it is taking a position whereby you can remain calm whilst a lot of activity takes place around you. You the Lightworkers are our bedrock upon the Earth, and are most important to our work. Follow your heart and you will feel secure and calm regardless of what is happening. The best is to come, and with the arrests of the dark Ones any lasting interference will be brought to a halt.
Remember Dear Ones that the whole Earth is also responding to the influx of higher energies. Mother Earth is desirous of finally becoming rid of the lower energies that have caused her such pain and sorrow. So far there has not been any reason to carry cleansing that would result in catastrophic results, and we do not anticipate that it will need to change. However, Mother Earth is continually changing and adjusting to the new energies reaching her. There will therefore be some repercussions, but we will be closely monitoring such events. We can help to minimize the effects on you, and have done so for a very long time.
You are so near to experiencing the outcome of our activities, and before very long the news will come out through the media. It has in fact already started but only in a small way, whereas we eventually want to see a worldwide coverage. In the near future we will take a hand in seeing that it does progress in this way, and shall be involved directly with the setting up of our own means of getting the news to you. We want you to have the advantage of new technologies as soon as possible, and set you off on the path to a new existence that will be consistent with your upliftment into the higher dimensions. You are ready to make such a leap, and have been introduced to the ideas of them so that you will take to them easily.
The fact that time is still continuing to speed up is being noticed by more of you, and it is quite clear that something major is afoot. Naturally, most of you who read the contact messages are well aware as to the reasons for it. You are leaving the old vibrations behind, as they are no longer suitable for the upcoming Galactic Being that you are becoming. From the times of the Dark Ages you have surmounted the most challenging conditions, yet your Light has shone through. 4 Quakes, 2 Days: Connection?
The 8.6-magnitude earthquake that hit off the coast of Sumatra, Indonesia, yesterday (April 11) was followed by several decent-size shakes along the west coast of North America, but researchers can't say for certain whether all the temblors were related.
It's possible, geophysicists say, that quakes off the coast of Oregon, Michoacan, Mexico, and in the Gulf of California ranging from magnitudes 5.9 to 6.9 on the Richter Scale had something to do with the large earthquake that struck near Indonesia. But the west coast quakes were fairly standard for their location.
"The Earth is in constant motion," said Aaron Velasco, a geophysicist at the University of Texas, El Paso. "I wouldn't necessarily say it's unusual, but we will definitely be looking at these earthquakes to see if there's any link between them."
It's undeniable that earthquakes can trigger other quakes at close range over a short period of time, phenomena known as aftershocks. At a distance, though, the picture is murkier. Quakes can trigger other quakes in two ways, said John Vidale, a seismologist at the University of Washington. First, they can put stress on nearby faults, deforming the crust and making another rupture more likely. That mechanism is limited to regions close to the original quake.
But earthquakes also send surface waves over long distances. The shaking from yesterday's Sumatra quake, for example, was picked up by seismic monitoring stations in the United States. "My guess is that the shaking was strong enough to actually trigger a little bit of activity," Vidale told LiveScience. But if the west coast activity of the last few days was related to the Sumatra quake, it wasn't out of the ordinary, he added.
"The activity it triggered isn't that much more than was already there," Vidale said. "It doesn't add much to the overall danger."
Proving that two earthquakes are linked over long distances or more than a couple of hours of time is "one of the toughest challenges we face," Velasco told LiveScience. With the earthquake records that are available, it hasn't yet been possible to find any firm patterns, he said.
"We don't have enough data to say yes, and we don't have enough data to say no," he said.
Prognosticating quakes is difficult, because humans don't live on the geologic time scale, said G. Randy Keller, a geophysicist at the University of Oklahoma.
"We only have recorded earthquakes for about 100 years, scientifically," Keller told LiveScience. What researchers do know is that the Sumatra quake was interesting on its own. The quake was a strike-slip quake, meaning the fault moved horizontally, not vertically like the enormous 2004 earthquake that triggered the devastating Indian Ocean tsunami. Knowing what is ahead we ask you to take in any inconvenience in your stride, as it will be short-lived. What may at first seem insurmountable problems, will present no difficulty to us bearing in mind the sources we have at our disposal. Remember Dear Ones that we have millions of craft involved in the changes within your solar system, and they can be with you in no time at all. For us, disclosure will be seen as the pinnacle of success, as we can then involve ourselves directly with you and there is a lot to do. Clearly once the media is released from the control of the Illuminati, much that has recently passed and gone unreported will be revealed. For example the present task of bringing criminals to justice, who have committed crimes against Humanity, should be front page news but it is not. However, it will grow to such proportions that it will soon be impossible to be ignored. We have a plan to provide our own news outlets, and once we are introduced to you it will become a necessity. Be assured that we have the means of providing whatever is needed to make sure every soul is aware of what is coming, and that each one is offered the chance to ascend and what it requires.
In the meantime we must say that the Lightworkers have done exceptionally well in getting you this far. Some have suffered for their troubles, but have had solid faith and willpower to continue their tasks. The Spiritual Hierarchy has been instrumental in ensuring success, by arranging for many Lightworkers to incarnate on Earth especially for this important time. Be assured that if you have as yet an unfulfilled task, you will be called when the time is appropriate. It will not be long before you find out, and many will be required to carry out work within their communities. If you are in the know about the future, your knowledge needs to be shared with those who need informing. The truth cannot be concealed any longer, and clearly the more you can open people’s minds to other possibilities the better.
Life has to go on in its daily routine, as what is coming will not change it for some time yet. It is first a re-structuring of society that creates a foundation for the new paradigm, and then your lives can be raised up bit by bit as we cover your needs. It is about ridding society of the lack deliberately created to keep you in poverty and enslavement, so that you become lifted up to a standard of life where it can be enjoyable and a happy experience.
It is not intended to place you into luxury, but to give you all of the necessities that everyone is entitled to. There should not be such extremes between the rich and the poor, and there is absolutely no reason why you should not enjoy a high standard of living.
Be patient now that we are so near to meeting, as exciting times lay ahead and we have planned some outstanding ways of celebrating it. Naturally you will want to see our craft in their hundreds, and a magnificent flyover is going to take place. That should eradicate fear, and when you see that we are members of the Human Race the link between us will be undeniable.

As you have found out there are also Humanoids amongst us, but bear in mind they area also highly evolved and members of the Galactic Federation. You may not be conscious of your ability to “feel” the energy of any individual, but we know that you will feel ours of love and peace towards you when we meet.
Major events are weeks away now rather than months, but allow for the initial sorting out to settle as it involves quite a lot of organizing. Obviously we are keen to get on with our tasks, but still have to make sure the time is right. It is not our way to rush things, as you have found out. We have a far reaching view of everything that is happening, therefore all of our actions are carefully drawn up for success, and that is what we promise you.
*The challenges that have beset you for such an extended period of time are now in their completion stages and the end is in sight of these rather disempowering situations. 1. The amount of gold under contract to the Federal Reserve System is 2,420,937,400 kilograms. (2,420,937.4 metric tons.)
2. The lease payments on this gold are payable at the rate of 4% per annum. The total owed, starting in 1961 through 2012, is 4,638,791,996 kilograms of pure gold.
3. Proof of the Federal Reserve Obligation is in the form of Federal Reserve Bonds, series of 1928 and series of 1934.
4. Proof of the interest obligation is further demonstrated by the issue of international currencies that have been issued to the Holders of the Gold Accounts, but against the Federal Reserve Bonds.
5. The gold was acquired through a time when gold coin and gold bullion could not be privately owned, and had to be surrendered to the State.
6. The States combined the bullion into a single, central deposit, whereby all countries would have equitable access.
7. The gold is actually owned by Governments through their Ministry of Finance.
8. In 1948, under UN Resolution MISA 81704, Operation Heavy Freedom, President Soekarno was appointed as M1, (Monetary Controller), and the entire centralized system was put under his disposal as Trustee.

*Few of you are under any illusions as to what is taking place, although some are still unconvinced that it is in the interests of the Human Race. Such people are normally not in touch with reliable sources of information, and thus lack sufficient information from which to make an informed judgment.
Rarely do they have the levels of consciousness required to see beyond the physical changes, and some have little or no knowledge of Ascension. However, they along with everyone else will before the end of the year is reached, have the opportunity to learn the facts and how it will affect them. After all, regardless of what is believed, the end times will alter peoples lives whether or not they are prepared. A new cycle means a new beginning and there are no ways that the old one can be perpetuated. Indeed, it is in everyone’s interest to move on to a new experience, that is consistent with their present level of evolution.
Where you find people that are confused, we call upon the Lightworkers to be bold and step in, as their knowledge is vital at this time because it can serve to ease their plight and lessen the possibility of them becoming fearful. As has often been said, there is nothing to fear except fear itself, and regardless of the circumstances the world is not due to end through any disaster.
All is planned to ensure that as many souls as possible are ready to ascend. However no pressure whatsoever is placed upon those who choose to remain in the third dimension, but to continue that experience they will move elsewhere. Neither is it considered a failure not to have reached Ascension, as you have infinite life and absolute freedom to take as long as you wish in the lower vibrations. Eventually every soul will rise up, as it is impossible to continue resisting the higher vibrations for any great length of time.
Our mission has taken off in the last few months, as we get more directly involved in the events taking place on Earth, and so it shall continue until the last remnants of the dark Ones are out of your way. Then we can move to another stage that allows us to be more involved in your lives, in assisting you to ascend. You will meet your Space Family and the Beings of the Inner Earth also related to you, and will have a lot to catch up on. Your history is far from accurate and there is much to put right that has either been misrepresented or falsified, and it covers many so-called “respectable” Institutions.
Each day we get nearer to taking actions that will bring the day of declaration into being, and then we move into another stage of our mission. It will be a time of great joy all over the world, to celebrate your new found freedom. Old differences and historical disagreements will fade into the past where they belong. It will be discovered that they have been deliberately played upon by the dark Ones, to keep the idea of separation alive. Now you shall see how quickly people can unite in friendship and goodwill.
At heart, all of you desire lasting peace, and that is what you will have at long last.
Dear Ones, when we say that everything will be sorted out, we mean it, and life will become very enjoyable and fulfilling. The type of worries you have now will be removed, and instead of a stressful life, it will become pleasurable with time for you to enjoy relaxing hobbies and pastimes. You were never meant to be slaves to your work, or live at a level where you were always in need. These are the type of things that we will address in lifting you up, and life will soon become a happy experience. The difference now to the past is what we have referred to many times, and a very important aspect of our service for you.
The dark Ones have constantly taken over inventions that should have brought you a higher standard of living, but have instead been used to further their own military ambitions to take over the world. Much has been denied you and soon it shall be made available to you, and it will have a great impact upon communications and transportation systems. Food shortages will become a thing of the past, and no one will ever again die from thirst. Trust and love will replace doubt and fear, and people all over the world will come together in the realisation that they are One Human Race, regardless of colour or any other differences.
At our level, we understand that the spiritual vibrations place souls at different levels, but that does not mean they are separated from us, as we can come and go as we do with you on Earth. The higher you rise up, the more you understand that service to others means helping those who follow in your footsteps. Again your history gives little mention of our interaction with you, yet we have been a great influence upon the development of your civilization. A number of your mysterious artefacts that seem to have no place in your present history result from our visits to your Earth. Sometimes they remain hidden away because their existence cannot be accounted for, plus there is a reluctance to mention the possibility of them being connected to Extra-terrestrial visitors.
Open your minds to all possibilities as you get to learn more about us, and be assured we will tell you about our many contacts with you. We and other civilizations have nurtured your species for thousands of years, and you are the result of several different ones who advanced your DNA, having first originated through the Lyrans. These are parts of your evolution that you will given more information about, as it is time you learnt the truth.
The acquisition of wealth will eventually no longer be necessary, as you will always have sufficient for your needs. It will be re-distributed and that will restore some quality to your lives, and also ensure that no one is left destitute or in poverty. You will also find that very soon there will be moves away from the old methods of medical treatment, to ones that are more friendly and efficient. Healing chambers and cubicles will replace the need to go to present day hospitals. The technologically advanced methods are totally successful and many are able to heal instantaneously. You could say that we make all new again, even where limbs or any other body parts are missing.

You are but a short path away from this as you continue to work upon your cleansing and the assimilation of the higher cosmic frequencies that are pouring through your crown chakra from the Great Central Sun.
More focus is needed upon the energizing of your Earth Star chakra which is approximately six to twelve inches below your feet. By visualizing a beautiful clear white light in this area below your feet and then growing roots into the crystalline diamond heart of Mother Earth, you allow the healing and supportive flow of energy to come from Her heart through your feet and up your spinal column where it meets in your heart chakra with the cosmic energies of the Central Sun.
Allow yourselves to relax as much as you can during the coming days and months, just BE in the moment and accept the flow of energy coming into your Being. You are highly energetic Beings and the influence of the radiance of your energetic signature and system is creating more upliftment of the mass consciousness grid.
As you walk upon the Earth, your expanded auric fields are beginning to connect with each other and this in turn, increases the Light that flows through the Earth’s crystalline grid.
This grid is the information network that connects you to the latest upgrades that are available and any new developments that are taking place during the ascension process.

This is a very good sign, for it means the work you have all been doing as part of your Soul agreement before even setting foot upon this Planet is now coming into fruition and your courage, strength, tenacity and power are now beginning to bear the fruits of your labor and you will experience the blossoming of gifts you didn’t even know or were aware that you had.
We of the higher dimensions are so very excited and pleased to welcome you home. It is but a matter of the blending of new dimensions which will take your World into a different perception of time from that which is felt at this time.

US Choice Jim Yong Kim is New World Bank Chief

US nominee Jim Yong Kim has been chosen as the new president of the World Bank.
The Korean-American health expert is president of Dartmouth College in the US state of New Hampshire.
He faced a strong challenge for the post, which has traditionally gone to an American, from Nigerian Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
Dr Kim will succeed Robert Zoellick, serving a five-year term beginning on 1 July, the World Bank said in a statement.
Aged 52, Jim Yong Kim is a doctor lauded for his pioneering role in treating HIV/Aids and reducing the impact of tuberculosis in the developing world.
US Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner said the new president’s background would be valuable in the role.
“His deep development background coupled with his dedication to forging consensus will help breathe new life into the World Bank’s efforts to secure fast economic growth that is widely shared,” Mr Geithner said in a statement.
And outgoing president Mr Zoellick added: “Jim has seen poverty and vulnerability first-hand, through his impressive work in developing countries.
“His rigorous, science-based drive for results will be invaluable for the World Bank Group as it modernises to better serve client countries in overcoming poverty.”
Andrew Mitchell, UK international development secretary and a governor of the World Bank Group, said that “as the first development professional to head the World Bank, Jim Yong Kim’s considerable experience will be vital as he leads it through its ambitious reform and modernisation programme”.
Meanwhile, the bank hailed the selection process as competitive, saying that the challenge posed by Mrs Okonjo-Iweala, as well as by Colombian candidate Jose Antonio Ocampo, would benefit the institution in the long run.
The three candidacies had “enriched the discussion of the role of the president and of the World Bank Group’s future direction”, the World Bank said.
‘New kind of leader’
By convention, the US has always held the top job at the World Bank since it was founded in 1944.
Mr Ocampo announced on Friday that he was withdrawing from the race and supporting Ms Okonjo-Iweala.
The World Bank did not provide details of the final vote or which country had backed which candidate.
Dr Kim will oversee a staff of 9,000 economists and development experts, and a loan portfolio that hit $258bn (£163bn) last year.
Mark Weisbrot of the Center for Economic and Policy Research in Washington suggested Dr Kim would make a very different kind of leader.
“There’s just no comparison between him and any of the prior World Bank presidents,” he said.
“The others were political insiders. They spent most of their lives getting rich or becoming politically powerful, or worse. Kim, by contrast, has spent most of his life trying to improve the lives of poor people.”
Obama, contrasting with Republicans, seeks money to confront oil market manipulation

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama pushed Congress Tuesday to give oil market regulators more muscle to deter price manipulation by speculators, the latest White House response to determined Republican attacks on administration energy policies amid high gas prices at the pump.
Obama wants Congress to strengthen federal supervision of oil markets, increase penalties for market manipulation and empower regulators to increase the amount of money energy traders are required to put behind their transactions.
"We can't afford a situation where some speculators can reap millions while millions of American families get the short end of the stick," Obama said at the White House.
The plan is more likely to draw sharp election-year distinctions with Republicans than have an immediate effect on prices at the pump. The measures seek to boost spending for Wall Street enforcement at a time when congressional Republicans are seeking to limit the reach of federal financial regulations.
The president's $52 million proposal comes as Republicans have been hammering Obama on his energy policies, recognizing the political cost of high gas prices on the president. Obama's plan would turn the tables on Republicans by taking aim at Wall Street's role in the oil price chain.
Obama was joined during his Rose Garden remarks by Attorney General Eric Holder, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chairman Gary Gensler, and Federal Trade Commission Chairman Jon Leibowitz.
The president didn't shy away from casting the issue in partisan terms, drawing attention to Republican opposition to a plan to end tax breaks for oil and gas companies.
"So here's a chance to make amends," he said.
Even before the White House announced Obama's plans, House Speaker John Boehner called it a political ploy and criticized the president for not using authority he already has to deal with such problems.
"The president has all the tools available to him if he believes that the oil market is being manipulated," Boehner told reporters Tuesday. "Where's his Federal Trade Commission? Where is the SEC? He's got agencies there. So instead of just another political gimmick, why doesn't he put his administration to work to get to the bottom of it?"
Boehner used the acronym for the Securities and Exchange Commission, whose duties include regulating markets.
Senior administration officials who put together the proposal would not go as far as to say that market manipulation is responsible for rising gas prices, but the officials said they wanted to curtail the ability of speculators to take unlawful advantage of oil price volatility. The officials spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss details of the plan.
"None of these steps by themselves will bring gas prices down overnight," Obama said. "But it will prevent market manipulation and make sure we're looking out for American consumers.
At issue is the increasing role of investment in oil futures contracts by pension funds, mutual funds, hedge funds, exchange traded funds and other investors. Much of that money is betting that oil prices will rise. Analysts say it is possible that such speculation has somewhat inflated the price of oil.
At the same time, investors can also bet that prices will go down — indeed, speculators have been credited for low natural gas prices. Studies of the effects of speculation on oil markets indicate that it probably increases volatility, but doesn't have a major effect on average prices.
The average price of a gas at the pump has dropped slightly but is still higher than it was at this time last year.
Obama's plan this time calls on Congress to:
— Increase six-fold the surveillance and enforcement staff of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission to better deter oil market manipulation.
— Increase spending on technology to provide better oversight and surveillance of energy markets.
— Increase civil and criminal penalties against firms that engage in market manipulation from $1 million to $10 million.
— Give the Commodity Futures Trading Commission authority to increase the amount of money that a trader must put up to back a trading position. The administration officials said such authority could help limit disruptions in energy markets.
The White House effort comes as Republicans have talked of limiting the reach of a financial regulation overhaul that Congress passed in 2010 over their objections. Though the House Republican budget, which calls for sharp reductions in government programs, does not specify reduction in spending by the trading commission, the administration officials said that if the cuts were applied the commission would lose more than five times what it spends on regulating energy markets.
The debate will pit Republicans who blame Obama for high gasoline prices against a White House that blames Republicans for coddling Wall Street.

We are more active now than ever before where your safety and well-being is concerned. Since a lot of our work is covertly carried out, you cannot know the extent to which we go, but we do lessen the effects of pollution whether air or seaborne. When we have fully stopped activities that cause pollution, then we can set to work and complete our projects to completely eliminate their effects. We are looking to various sources to contemplate disclosure, and prepare the public for its coming. Shock can no longer be considered as the outcome to disclosure, as sightings of our craft have been so widespread for many years now. Also we continue to show ourselves more frequently than ever, and even over more densely inhabited areas.
Levels of consciousness continue to increase, and that has been expected in view of the amount of Light that has been directed to Earth in more recent years. It touches the heart strings of many people, who have noticed changes within themselves. Some fight it and are set in their ways, but when the truth comes out regarding the purpose of life, we expect many to open up.
Another important aspect is the acceptance that life is ongoing, and that there is no such thing as death where the soul is concerned. That should release people who live in fear of it, and do not understand that you are not just your body.
You are wonderful spiritual beings who have so much more potential than you realise, and when you ascend you will be at a level where you can exercise it. There will be few restrictions on your freedom to travel where you like, and you can undertake almost any challenge that will further your spiritual evolution. Naturally, wiser heads than yours are at your call, and the Masters will give you the benefit of their experience. Many of you already serve under one of them and belong to their groups. Group work is a feature of your service to others when you reach the higher realms. Even on Earth you will no doubt agree that you find yourselves attracted to like kinds.
We of the Galactic Federation are also drawn to work together, and with our different experiences the group energy is very powerful. Because of the number of new civilizations joining us, we can enjoy learning of their ways of life. There is also the sharing of new technologies, and it is amazing how different ideas are developed, as for example the many types of craft you see in your skies. Believe us Dear Ones, life is far from boring or lacking excitement when you rise up. Indeed, it is very satisfying and enjoyable, and carried out with love for the many forms of life we meet. Your future may not necessarily lay with us, but as you are members of our Federation you can join us if that is your desire.
We want to see our allies mount a massive drive to once and for all clear out all of the dark Ones, so that those of you who serve the Light can lead the people through the last days of this cycle. The White Brotherhood has long arranged for the right souls to be on Earth, and be ready to take up their posts and ensure a rightful ending to duality as you know it. The dark Ones are not the only ones that can organize themselves for maximum affect, and the Light has also long planned for this time. There was always going to be a victory for the Light, but with your granted freewill the future was not always predictable. Until the Millennium passed by it was not clear how you would progress and although the darkness thickened you rose up magnificently to pursue the path of Light. The dark Ones would seem to have taken over, but you stood up to them and against the odds have come out of it victorious. It only remains to clear up the mess after the Illuminati have been removed, and in that we are totally with you.
We know that with Ascension approaching some parents express concern about their children, and that is understandable. Let us explain that they are as every other soul at this time, following their life plan. They chose who to be with and they would have known about their future as well as yours. Look upon them as souls simply becoming acclimatized to Earth life, with as much potential if not more than yours. Certainly over the last 30 years or more, many souls have been chosen to join you at this special time because of their highly evolved state. They are needed to bring out their Light, and help the awakening of other souls whose consciousness levels need lifting up. The whole process of Ascension has required an army of Lightworkers to put it on a firm footing.
There is in reality no need to worry about any other soul whether they be young or old, and about their place in Ascension. All of you came to Earth knowing full well what the challenges would be, and what your karmic lessons would entail. You are all fully equipped to deal with your life plan, and you have a number of Guides who help ensure it all works out successfully for you. Even if some souls venture with the dark energies would have been known beforehand, that is also a karmic situation. Experience comes very hard at times, but that is how you learn and progress spiritually. If in this life time you have erred, recognise your mistakes and forgive yourself and you can still step on the path to Ascension. Put mistakes behind you, and be sure that given the same circumstances you would not make them again.

Bipartisan Political Elite Implicated in For-Profit Education Fraud
In a case of classroom to courtroom, for-profit education fraud looks like being the next game changer in the US.
Could her husband’s involvement in a potential for-profit education fraud case be the reason behind the recent retirement of Maine Senator Olympia Snowe? Most likely.
Meanwhile, current GOP candidate Mitt Romney is among a vast network of former and current government officials named in this story who actively participate in the for-profit college swindle.

On Friday, April 13, 2012, Courthouse News reported a class-action lawsuit by students filed in federal court against the Art Institute of California and its owner, Educational Management Corporation (EDMC).
As reported in Truthout, Sen. Olympia Snowe’s (R-Maine) husband, former governor of Maine John McKernan, is chairman of the board of EDMC and a former CEO of the company. The company also faces an $11 billion false claims lawsuit by the federal government and 11 states.
The lead plaintiff in the class-action suit, Chinea Washington, claims The Art Institute of California, Hollywood, led her to believe that federal grants and loans would cover the entire $89,000 cost for a bachelor’s degree in interior design.
In November 2011, after three years of study, Washington was provided notice by the “college” that she had reached the federal loan/grant aggregate limit of $52,340 and that it would cost $37,000 to complete the degree. Washington dropped out with $52,160 in debt. Because The Art Institute’s credits are not transferable, Washington has been swindled out of $52,000 and three years of her life.
The only way to describe $89,000 for a four-year degree with non-transferable credits from a non-academic college is as a fraud and a swindle, and that characterization possibly fails to convey the frustration and downright victimization students like Washington must feel.
Like subprime mortgages, for-profit colleges are a scam driven by payment of commissions to sales staff known as recruiters. The payment of commissions to high-pressure salespeople is so central to the scam that the umbrella trade group for for-profits, the Association of Private Sector Colleges and Universities (APSCU), has sued the federal government to overturn its ban on incentive pay.
It cannot be stated strongly enough: for-profit colleges could not engage in the ongoing exploitation of students and theft of federal money without the direct cooperation and assistance of the federal government in what can only be termed an immoral economy.
The same forces that demonize everything government does or attempts to do are busy feeding from the government trough. The hypocrisy is untenable, the federal subsidies unfathomable and the lack of criminal prosecution unconscionable.
For-profit colleges are a kickback scheme where politicians enact favorable legislation and regulations that allow for-profit colleges to maintain access to student loans and grant money. The for-profit colleges then “give” a small cut of the federal money back to the politicians to enact favorable legislation.
In the cases of Senator Snowe and Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-California), their husbands have operated under the cover of their wives as they directly benefited, and continue to benefit from, their positions as shareholders in for-profit college companies. Snowe and Feinstein are accomplices in the ongoing evisceration and defrauding of citizen taxpayers and students, which explains the pair’s complete silence on this matter.
The so-called ruling class of government officials and elected politicians, to which Feinstein and Snowe clearly belong, is little more than a gaggle of white-collar criminals which facilitates and benefits from the diversion of taxpayer money into private coffers. It all takes on the appearance of legitimacy.
Unfortunately, this is not a victimless crime. Like Washington, thousands of students who attend these subprime institutions are left with tens of thousands of dollars of nondischargeable debt which ends up ruining their lives.
There is a vast network of former and current government officials who actively participate in the for-profit college swindle.
Some of the conspirators are well known, and include: Mitt Romney, Rep. Virginia Foxx (R-North Carolina), John Kline (R-Minnesota), Alcee Hastings(D-Florida), Trent Lott (R-Mississippi), Lamar Alexander (R-Tennessee), Steve Gunderson (R-Wisconsin), Virginia Democratic Party Chairman Brian Moran, Snowe, Feinstein, Nancy Pelosi (D-California), and John Boehner (R-Ohio). The group also includes Obama administration officials and supporters such as Lanny Davis, Anita Dunn, Hilary Rosen, Anthony Miller and Charles Rose.
As I have previously written, you won’t read about any of this in The Washington Post because the Post owns a predatory for-profit college outfit known as Kaplan University, nor will you hear much about it in the rest of the corporate press.

For-profit colleges serve as a corporate poster child for the need for campaign-finance and lobbying reform to staunch the ongoing corruption of the government which has looted the country and is turning it into a dysfunctional, third world nation.

That which is finished is finished; however remember that it is you who are creating your new world, not us. Many tend to await the arrival of others to change things. It is your enlightened awareness that is manifesting as your outer world. You are the creators. That is why we often cannot answer questions asked about what is going to happen, because we do not know what you are choosing to create. We too are watching and waiting as you create a new enlightened world.
This is a time of strife, loss, and suffering for many but these experiences have been necessary in order to shift humanity out of their comfort zones, so to speak. There are still many, who unless forced, will choose to simply remain steadfast in what is old and finished regardless of how unsatisfying it may have become for them. All who are ready, are now in the process of clearing physical cellular memory as well as any dormant energies still within the emotional and mental bodies. This is necessary in order to assimilate the new and higher frequencies of ONE–frequencies of Light and unconditional love.
These clearings can at times be uncomfortable. Your job is to allow the process, rest more if you need it, but do not claim that which is leaving, back in. This is often inadvertently done through saying; “I am so depressed, I am so this or that…” which occurs because you are re-experiencing some of these old frequencies as they release. Often you feel them as physical or emotional discomfort, but as spiritually aware individuals your job is to simply allow the process. If an issue keeps presenting itself to your thought, then look at it, for it may be something needing to be released in a more conscious way through an honest examination of your belief system.
What about unconditional love? What is unconditional love? It is not the dreamy romantic view that television shows, movies, magazines would have you believe. Nor does unconditional love mean being anyone’s door mat. Unconditional Love is an attained state of consciousness that sees through appearances to the truth. Unconditional love manifests through an innate recognition of mankind’s spiritual nature in spite of whatever human frailties they may be manifesting.
Unconditional love is a consciousness that sees humor in the world, and is not governed by strict and rigid rules declaring that an individual must live only in accord with a particular set of concepts in order to be loveable. Unconditional Love is the ability to say what needs to be said, which may on occasion have to be firm or even seemingly harsh, while within remembering that the individual or individuals are spiritual beings. This way, the words carry and energy of love and do not reflect the negative.
Unconditional love is the ever present realizations of ones own self as divine being in spite of personal failings. It is recognition of the ONE manifest as the many. It is an ability to see loving humor those situations humans often find themselves in, and also in those who may seem different or “odd” by current human standards. It is an appreciation for differences among people and an understanding of their point of view without entering into their particular energy field. Unconditional love is also the recognition that since there is only One Life, it is the life of all living things, and not just human beings.
This understanding is a facet of your awakening process dear ones, you are quickly moving into a deeper and more true awareness of unconditional love but it often takes a so called disaster to force some individuals to actually look into another’s eyes and recognize that in spite of social, economic, or racial differences, all are spiritual beings having a human experience. We are not saying that unconditional love means becoming best friends with everyone you meet, but we are saying that like it or not, the new energy is one of unconditional love and if you choose ascension for your path, you must begin to accept that in spite of appearances, all living things are in and of the One Divine Source for It is all there is.

*The peeling away of the layers of the

and resolve to see this process through to the victory celebration that comes
when entering the higher dimensions of thinking and doing. The layers are now
very thin and are easily dissipated with the tools that you have learnt work
best for you.
The days ahead
require your persistence and perseverance in the holding of your vision of what
you want to see manifest in your World. There are the visions for your personal
life and then there are the greater visions of the World you want your children
and grandchildren to enjoy and embrace. You are each making the Ascension of
the Earth and all upon, within, around and above Her happen. Each day as you
persist in your daily disciplines of anchoring the Light within the crystalline
diamond core of Earth, you add more Light to the entire crystalline grid that
is growing ever more powerful in its activation. It has been many ages since
this grid has been at full operating capacity and so there is a joyful tone
that emanates from the grid in anticipation of the full restoration of its
power.
Life as you
have known it and perceived it is rapidly falling away and being replaced with
ways that are better and which ensure the good of all, not just the few. As the
grid gathers more energy and power it is distributed across the Planet in a way
that stabilizes the energies emanating from the Cosmos so that greater harmony
and balance is maintained. Those who work with the Light are adding to and
connecting to, the knowledge that resonates from the great crystals in the
depths of the planet. As this occurs, a shifting takes place within your forms
and within all forms including the Earth. Each change creates the opening for
more change and this will continue until a total transformation happens. Those
of you who have been the vanguard of this movement have now entered a state of
Being where your efforts are being supported by these new energies and you will
find that it becomes a joyful service rather than a necessary chore.
This is the joy
of creation of the new. This is alchemy at its finest and most powerful, for
all that you have learned and all the tools that you gained are now a part of
your new Template and you are focusing upon your own form and bringing healing

on cleansing your body, mind and feelings of all that does not resonate with
the higher aspects of your Being. Stay attuned to your heart and to the heart
of Mother Earth, hear Her song, her guidance, her wisdom. She has much to teach
you if you are willing to listen. She knows the entire history of the evolving
cycles of life within Her domain. She will help you to remember. Honor the
Earth and become One with Her in loving and symbiotic relationship. Your
acknowledgement brings joy and gladness to Her great Being. She is so very
ready to work in unison with you.
*These times are bringing to you more of what you have desired for your entire lifetime. Many occurrences are happening with increasing synchronicity that brings to you some of the good you have long desired in your lives. Get used to this, Dear Ones, for there is more on its way.
Feel the blessings of the Universe enfold you in safety, protection and benediction. These are the times you have been working towards; you are raising yourselves into a higher consciousness and meeting an answering reply from the higher aspects of yourselves.
More effort is required of you before you reap the harvest of the seeds you have planted in your garden of life. Charges Filed in BP Oil Spill

Washington (CNN) — The first criminal charges have been filed in connection with the BP Gulf of Mexico oil disaster two years ago, the Justice Department said Tuesday.
Former BP engineer Kurt Mix was arrested in Texas on two counts of intentionally destroying evidence requested by authorities, specifically the alleged deletions of messages focusing on work to stem the oil flow.
Charges were filed in Louisiana against Mix, 50, of Katy, Texas. He was scheduled to appear in a Houston courtroom at 3 p.m. EDT.
An estimated 4.9 million barrels (206 million gallons) of crude oil poured into the Gulf of Mexico after the April 2010 explosion that killed 11 men aboard the drill rig Deepwater Horizon, which eventually sank.
Oil spewed into the sea for nearly three months before a cap was placed on the BP-owned Macondo well, nearly a mile beneath the surface.
“The department has filed initial charges in its investigation into the Deepwater Horizon disaster against an individual for allegedly deleting records relating to the amount of oil flowing from the Macondo well after the explosion that led to the devastating tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico,” Attorney General Eric Holder said Tuesday.
“The Deepwater Horizon Task Force is continuing its investigation into the explosion and will hold accountable those who violated the law in connection with the largest environmental disaster in U.S. history.”
Mix, a drilling and completions BP project engineer, “worked on internal BP efforts to estimate the amount of oil leaking from the well,” the department said. He also had been “involved in various efforts to stop the leak,” including the unsuccessful “Top Kill” project “to pump heavy mud into the blown-out wellhead to try to stop the oil flow.”
BP told Mix to retain all information concerning Macondo, including his text messages.
But around October 4, 2010, Mix deleted from his iPhone a “text string containing more than 200 text messages with a BP supervisor” after he found out a vendor working for BP’s lawyers was to collect his “electronic files.”
“The deleted texts, some of which were recovered forensically, included sensitive internal BP information collected in real time as the Top Kill operation was occurring, which indicated that Top Kill was failing,” the Justice Department said.
The court documents say Mix deleted one text from the end of the first day of Top Kill, on May 26, 2010, that said, “too much flowrate — over 15,000.”
“Before Top Kill commenced, Mix and other engineers had concluded internally that Top Kill was unlikely to succeed if the flow rate was greater than 15,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD). At the time, BP’s public estimate of the flow rate was 5,000 BOPD — three times lower than the minimum flow rate indicated in Mix’s text,” the department said.
When Mix learned that a vendor working for BP’s outside counsel was about to image his iPhone last August, he “allegedly deleted a text string containing more than 100 text messages with a BP contractor with whom Mix had worked on various issues concerning how much oil was flowing from the Macondo well after the blowout.
“By the time Mix deleted those texts, he had received numerous legal hold notices requiring him to preserve such data and had been communicating with a criminal defense lawyer in connection with the pending grand jury investigation of the Deepwater Horizon disaster,” the department said.
Mix would face a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 on each count if he is convicted.
BP issued a statement Tuesday saying it “is cooperating with the Department of Justice and other official investigations into the Deepwater Horizon accident and oil spill.”
It added that it “had clear policies requiring preservation of evidence in this case and has undertaken substantial and ongoing efforts to preserve evidence.” It said it would have no comment on the allegations against Mix.

Minister Under Pressure Over Media Bid After Murdoch’s Leveson Appearance

British Prime Minister David Cameron was last night resisting demands to fire one of his ministers following evidence from James Murdoch about leaks from the Government during News Corp’s controversial bid to take over British satellite broadcaster BSkyB.
Opposition leader Ed Miliband said the evidence showed that Culture Secretary Jeremy Hunt, who was the final arbiter of whether the takeover should be allowed, had given “advice, guidance and privileged access to the News Corporation” and acted “as a back channel for the Murdochs”.
In more than six hours of intense cross-examination before the Leveson inquiry into the media, Mr Murdoch strongly defended his company’s right to approach politicians to push its agenda. He said he saw nothing wrong with frequent behind-the-scenes information his company had allegedly received from Mr Hunt’s office.
Mr Hunt was acting in a quasi-judicial role as the minister who would decide whether the bid for BSkyB was appropriate in terms of media plurality.
The inquiry was told that at one time Mr Murdoch received news that Mr Hunt was frustrated that his advisers said they should not meet in private to discuss the issue.
Mr Murdoch sent a reply, “You must be f-g joking. Fine, I will text him.”
Mr Miliband last night demanded Mr Hunt’s resignation: “If he refuses to resign, the Prime Minister must show some leadership and fire him.”
Mr Hunt’s aides denied the claims, saying evidence presented to the inquiry was inaccurate and that meetings and messages that had been claimed had never happened. They said Mr Hunt planned to ask Justice Leveson if he could appear before the inquiry to defend himself as soon as possible. Mr Cameron said Mr Hunt had his full confidence.
The evidence related to extracts from 163 pages of emails Mr Murdoch had received from Fred Michel, News Corp’s director of public affairs for Europe during the Sky takeover bid. The emails detailed alleged communications with Mr Hunt, many of them through Mr Hunt’s adviser Adam Smith, and on some days running to half a dozen exchanges.
But Mr Hunt’s aides claimed Mr Michel had exaggerated the degree of contact he had with the minister’s office. Mr Hunt had not spoken to Mr Michel daily and was willing to make his phone records available to confirm this, they said.
Claims in the emails included:
*That Mr Michel had obtained information about a statement Mr Hunt was about to make on the bid
*That Mr Hunt “said we would get there in the end and shared our objectives”
*That Mr Hunt said he wanted Mr Murdoch “to understand he needs to build some political cover on the process”
News Corp dropped the takeover bid last year after it became caught up in a publicity firestorm over the News of the World’s hacking of the phone of a murdered schoolgirl.
Mr Murdoch strongly defended the right of News International to lobby politicians to advance its interests, saying that this was what all large companies did. “It was entirely reasonable to try to communicate with all relevant policymakers to try to communicate the merits of what we were proposing,” he said.
He several times denied that News had ever offered a politician a “quid pro quo” of favourable editorial coverage in return for political favours. This included the first minister for Scotland, Alex Salmond, who had apparently asked Mr Murdoch to “smooth the way” for the Sun newspaper in Scotland to support Scottish nationalism.
Mr Michel wrote to Mr Murdoch, “I met Alex Salmond’s advisers today. He will call Hunt whenever we need him to.”
Mr Murdoch said he could categorically deny that the two matters were linked: “There was absolutely no [such] News Corporation policy. I wouldn’t do business like that.”
Former Liberal Democrat MP and Hacked Off activist Evan Harris told the BBC there should not have been secret discussions with the minister making the decision. “It’s no help to Jeremy Hunt that James Murdoch doesn’t see it was ethically dodgy… Just one of those emails would be a smoking gun to have [Mr Hunt] consider his position. There are 160 pages of those emails.”
Mr Harris suggested the Prime Minister might fear he could not afford to set a precedent by sacking Mr Hunt because “there may be more ministers involved in the sort of thing Jeremy Hunt was doing”.
